This year sees Knights in Battle celebrate Christmas in the 15th Century style. We'll deck the halls with boughs of holly and setting the scene at the incredible Dronfield Hall Barn, just outside of Sheffield.
Dronfield Hall Barn, just off High Street, dates from the early 18th Century. A successful lead and stone merchant, John Rotherham, clad the Medieval timber frame in stone to create the building that still stands today. Wooden beams and timber posts within date to the 1430's and evidence within suggests the old Hall may have been a high status Manor House.
